Dates for registration will be posted as soon as possible.  The 2020 fall season will begin on September 14, 2020.  Previous dates posted will be updated to reflect the new start date.

Belchertown High School does not approve of or condone any type of summer gathering of our student athletes.   Captain’s practices are not in any way sanctioned, encouraged, recognized, or condoned in any sport by the MIAA or Belchertown High School.  Please see the link below to the MIAA handbook, and refer to rule 24 on page 26.

  • FamilyID will open on ..... for sports registration at (copy and paste into browser).  Anyone wishing to tryout for a fall sport MUST register online before the first day of team activities which is ......  It is advised to register by ..... for all fall sports to be sure all requirements are verified and the student athlete is cleared to participate for the first day of team activities.  Registration will close on ......  It is mandatory that the registration be completed by a parent or guardian, and that care is taken when registering that full names are used and accurate information submitted.  Thank you for cooperation.  
  • ImPact Testing for all sports and football equipment distribution schedule below:
    • Football equipment distribution and ImPact testing - last name A-M - TBD 3:15-6:15 (specific times and locations will be sent closer to the date)
    • Football equipment distribution and ImPact testing - last name N-Z - TBD 3:15-6:15 (specific times and locations will be sent closer to the date)
    • Soccer, Golf, Field Hockey, Cross Country, Voleyball in the library and room 319 from 3-5 - TBD A-E, TBD F-L, TBD M-S, TBD T-Z.
    • Please click on the "Concussion/Impact Testing" link during registration.  Impact testing is required for all 9th and 11th grade students and all new students.  If you missed your session please contact the Athletic Director at
  • Picture Day is TBD beginning at 2:30PM in the BHS gym (more information/order forms to come from coaches).
  • Coaches meeting is TBD at 5:30PM-8:30PM in the Fitness/Wrestling room.
  • Coaches CPR/AED training is TBD 6PM-9PM in the Fitness/Westling room.
  • Mandatory Student Athletes meeting is TBD 6PM-9PM (may be staggered or virtual). 
  • Parent/Guardian and student athlete TBD 6PM in the VMA - attendance is required (may be staggered or virtual).

Schedules are subject to change due to weather and field availability due to field conditions.  

  • Please practice good sportsmanship when attending one of our games, home or away.
  • The Athletic Department implemented a tiered system for athletic fees in 2017. Please check the cost of each sport on the list below.
  • All checks for athletic fees are to be made payable to "TOWN OF BELCHERTOWN".  Please give your payment to the main office c/o the Athletic Director, or mail to Belchertown High School c/o Athletic Director, 142 Springfield Road, Belchertown, MA 01007.  Athletic fee must be received prior to the start of the season - September 14, 2020 for 2020 Fall .
